Alice Pinto - PianistIncreasingly renowned for her work with young musicians, Alice is a sought-after teacher; her students have been awarded scholarships and music places at Alleyn’s, Highgate, Sevenoaks, St. Marylebone and Dame Alice Owen’s schools. Alice gained her LRAM in 2011 and currently teaches at Dulwich College and Bute House Preparatory School, having previously taught at Junior Guildhall, Dame Alice Owen’s School, and King’s College London. From 2013-14 she held a Leverhulme Fellowship with Pro Corda, and coaches regularly on courses.

Alice operates a thriving private teaching studio in the Shepherd’s Bush area of West London area, and enquiries from keen, committed students of any age or level (from beginner to post-Grade 8) should be directed through the CONTACT page. Lessons are given in a designated music teaching room, with Steinway grand piano. PLEASE NOTE that Alice teaches at her own address only, and does not travel to other destinations to give lessons.

Alice is also experienced in teaching music theory, and offers lessons specifically tailored towards passing the ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Exam. These can be arranged on a weekly basis over a longer period of time, or as a ‘crash course’ in the lead-up to the exam. Supporting sessions for aural and sightreading (any instrument or voice) are also available upon request.
